In ancient numerology, 8 was considered ‘perfection’, as its figure depicted the perfect cycle of life.
In Jewish and Coptic traditions, the number 8 signifies ‘new beginnings’, as its was the first day back after the creation.
In astrology, the number 8 represents the planet Saturn, which controls ambition, authority, and career.

Meet Our Founder, Octavia
With more than 15 years of experience across executive support, operations, client service, marketing, digital projects and entrepreneurship, Octavia has built her career around helping complex lives and businesses run more smoothly.
Her experience spans executive and personal assistance, household and property coordination, travel, vendor management, events, website development, social media, creator and influencer campaigns, brand partnerships, business launches and other priorities that require discretion, judgment and dependable follow-through.
Octavia began working independently with clients in 2008. Over time, that work expanded across private clients, executives, brands, nonprofits and growing businesses, eventually evolving into Your Eight, which was formally established in 2023 as a flexible way to provide highly personalized support across professional and personal needs.
Her background across business operations, real estate, hospitality, wellness, experiential marketing, entertainment and creative work allows her to adapt quickly, understand the bigger picture and step into a wide range of environments without losing sight of the details.
Eight is also Octavia’s nickname, and the idea behind Your Eight is simple: to be the person you can rely on when you need another set of hands, eyes or judgment.
